Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn are called cardinal signs. They like to set a direction through action, care, connection or structure. The challenge is not always beginning, but leaving room for what comes next.
The sustainers
Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius are called fixed signs. They keep warmth, values, focus or ideas alive over time. Their strength is endurance; the question is when loyalty has begun to resemble being stuck.
The adapters
Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces are called mutable signs. They adapt, translate and notice what needs to shift. Flexibility is a gift, but can turn into fragmentation when nothing is allowed to be chosen.
